Pennsylvania Governor's Office Visits Endless Energy in Wilkes-Barre to Discuss Economic Development in the State

“When we make investments in things like sites, it’s to attract companies, to employ folks, and high wage jobs. To enable them, to succeed, to chart their own course; and in doing so, create tax revenue that helps our municipalities, our counties, and our state provide even better services for folks. It’s really an investment in Pennsylvania’s future. Pennsylvania is open for business. We are serious and energized about attracting companies here, about helping companies that are operating here, like Endless Energy, grow and succeed. We look forward to partnering with folks all across Pennsylvania to do that.”

PA solar energy jobs increasing, amid national decrease

"Family-owned business Endless Energy has been involved in solar for about 12 years.

"[From] 2010 to 2011, renewable energy credits were going for about $350 a credit," said CEO of Endless Energy, Michael Pitcavage. "Once other companies started realizing it, credits dropped down to about $10."

Last year the loophole allowing out-of-state producers to sell in PA was closed. That's helping keep the future of solar for Pennsylvanians, by Pennsylvanians.

Endless Energy expects to double its workforce over the next few years.

As for the price per credit, it's ticked up to about 35 dollars, which means more money for those investing in solar."
